Virginia Key Beach Clean-Up

We need your help!!  Come assist Adventure Sports with a beach clean-up at Virginia Key this Saturday (October 21st) from 8AM to 12PM.  Currently, the windsurf beach, and all beach access at Virginia Key, is closed to the public.  We’re working with the City of Miami to promote the opening of the park for windsurf access and for beach goers by helping with a beach clean-up.  This is a great opportunity for us all to contribute to the Hurricane Irma relief efforts in our area and to open up our beaches to the activities that we love.

Access to the beach for the clean-up will be free of charge and basic cleaning supplies will be provided.  Just bring a pair of comfortable shoes, gloves if you want them, and some sunscreen and you’ll be all set!  With all of our help, we can bring Virginia Key access back for everybody by this weekend!  If you have any questions, please feel free to ask Brendan Healy (brendan@npusa.com).  Also feel free to spread the word about this clean-up on your own!  Post on Facebook, tell your friends, send some postcards, fly a plane carrying one of those banner ads, you name it!  Get the squad together and we’ll see you this Saturday!

The City of Miami has asked that we register here
